The school logo is used to give the magazine identidy, the magazine name being HUB is relatable to the common room where all students gather for lunch and breaks. The use of a happy student on the front promotes a positive attitude, she holds the sixth form planner and wears her lanyard. These props are essential for identidy, and are also suitable for the magazine. I find the text on this cover to be quite amateur, this magazine cover doesnt look creative or as if it has had a lot of thought put into it, therefore in my music magazine I will have house style with a set of chosen text styles, sizes and colours throughout. Also, in my final magazine I will have to edit the photos, this will look more realistic for a magazine.
Contents page of magazine
The contents page is weak, the page doesn't look realistic. I find this to be due to a lot of open space, which should be full to make readers curious to what is to read, to show that the magazine is worth reading. The style of text is not creative or show any form of identidy to the magazine. However, the logo used is consistant to the location of where it is on the front cover so this could give connotations of the magazine having a form of layout, thought behind it.
Survey feedback
These different graphs are provided by Survey Monkey, they show the feedback results. Therefore with this information I could make my magazine a weekly edition and add in the extra features that had the highest votes for. This demonstrates how i have used my research and improved my magazine for the target audience.
